Bagaimana tidak, penjualan produk kecantikan dan perawatan wajah serta tubuh lewat platform e-commerce saja menembus Rp2,04 triliun. Jumlah ini meningkat 25 persen dari pada tahun lalu.
Dilansir CNBC Indonesia dari data Compas.co.id, produk perawatan wajah jadi barang yang paling banyak dicari.
Data in diambil dari merchant di Tokopedia, Shopee. dan Blibli pada periode awal Ramadhan hingga minggu ketiga atau 13 Maret sampai 2 April 2024.
Penjualan produk perawatan tercatat 15.539.179 unit dengan nilai menembus RP 740,68 miliar.
Sementara produk perawatan tubuh terjual 8,11 juta unit dengan nilai Rp 249,94 miliar.
Tak kalah menggiurkan, produk kecantikan bundling atau paketan juga laris manis hingga Rp201,58 miliar. Sementara parfum terjual hingga 3,16 juta senilai Rp 182,53 miliar.
Bukan hanya kaum hawa, para pria juga tidak ketinggalan ikut belanja produk kecantikan hingga menembus Rp45,08 miliar dengan total penjualan 1,09 juta unit.
Kebiasaan Masyarakat Indonesia
Sebuah survei yang dirilis Jajak Pendapat (Jakpat) berjudul Beauty Trends Makeup & Skincare 2023 menunjukkan masyarakat Indonesia paling banyak belanja make up secara online melalui e-commerce.
Sepanjang 2023 lalu, 81 persen responden menyatakan membeli make up dan skincare dari e-commerce. Disusul toko kosmetik sebesar 51 persen dan media sosial 44 persen.
Sementara sebanyak 74 persen responden mengaku lebih tertarik pada brand lokal.
Diprediksi Terus Meningkat
Tren belanja make up dan skincare dipastikan terus meningkat setelah Pandemi Covid-19.
“Menyuusul pemulihan yang solid sejak puncak pandemi Covid-19, pasar kecantikan diperkirakan akan mencapai sekitar $580 miliar pada tahun 2027, dengan proyeksi pertumbuhan sebesar 6 persen per tahun,” kata McKinsey dari studinya. Dilansir GoodStats.
