KlikFakta.com, JEPARA – Pemerintah Kabupaten (Pemkab) Jepara mengapresiasi Gerakan Bulan Sedekah (GBS) yang kembali diluncurkan oleh Badan Amil Zakat Nasional (Baznas) Kabupaten Jepara.
Gerakan tersebut berlangsung selama tiga bulan mulai tanggal 25 Maret sampai dengan 31 Mei 2024.
GBK menjadi sebuah upaya mengikis angka kemiskinan dan memupuk kembali rasa kepedulian di antara masyarakat Kabupaten Jepara.
Selain itu sebagai upaya memberikan wadah kepada masyarakat untuk memberikan sedekah terlebih ini momentum yang bertepatan dengan bulan Ramadan.
Ketua Baznas Jepara, Sholih mengatakan, GBS diperuntukan agar membantu masyarakat yang masih kekurangan.
Ia menambahkan, GBS ini sifatnya sukarela bagi yang mampu dan mau bersedekah.
“Hasil GBS ini seluruhnya akan dibagikan UPZ (Unit Pengumpul Zakat-red) desa untuk ditasarufkan kepada warganya yang fakir miskin,” kata Sholih saat peluncuran GBS di Gedung Shima Kompleks Setda Jepara pada Rabu (13/3/2024).
Sementara itu, Penjabat Bupati Jepara Edy Supriyanta mengapresiasi Baznas atas gerakan yang berlangsung.
Dia juga menginstruksikan kepada seluruh camat untuk menjadi koordinator bagi desa/kelurahan dan untuk lurah/petinggi dapat menginstruksikan kepada ketua RT untuk menghimpun hasil GBS ini.
“Ayo kita bareng-bareng untuk mendukung GBS ini yang dimulai pada tanggal 25 Maret sampai tiga bulan ke depan,” ujar Pj. Bupati Jepara.
Ia berharap setiap desa/kelurahan dapat menyalurkan minimal 1.000 kupon kepada masyarakat dengan nilai Rp10.000 atau kelipatan dengan sesuai kemampuan masing-masing.
Selain peluncuran GBS, juga dilaksanakan penyerahan bantuan kepada siswa keluarga tidak mampu, siswa berkebutuhan khusus, dan penyaluran zakat produktif kepada sejumlah tenaga honorer oleh Baznas Jepara. (adv)
