KlikFakta.com – Rancangan Undang-Undang (RUU) Kesehatan Omnibuslaw akan mengadopsi ketentuan aborsi bagi korban kekerasan seksual hingga perdagangan manusia.
Staf Ahli Bidang Hukum Kesehatan Kementerian Kesehatan RI Sundoyo mengungkapkannya dalam pertemuan dengan 38 organisasi profesi pendukung RUU Kesehatan.
“Kesehatan reproduksi dalam draft RUU Kesehatan bukan cuma soal umur kehamilan, tapi juga aborsi. Sesuai di UU Kesehatan eksisting pasal 75, aborsi karena ada indikasi medis dan korban perkosaan yang menimbulkan beban psikologis,” ucapnya, melansir Antara, Rabu (24/5).
Dalam Pasal 42 RUU Kesehatan, aborsi dapat dilakukan sebelum kehamilan berumur 14 pekan dihitung dari hari pertama haid terakhir, kecuali dalam kedaruratan medis.
Hak korban tindak pidana perdagangan orang (TPPO) juga masuk dalam RUU Kesehatan. Salah satunya tentang aborsi.
“Ini kami coba masukkan dalam RUU Kesehatan karena lebih maju untuk menangkap hal demikian,” katanya.
