Penghargaan ini diterima Kepala Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika (Diskominfo) Jepara Arif Darmawan selaku Pejabat Pengelola Informasi dan Dokumentasi (PPID), pada Kamis 21 Desember 2023 di Rama Shinta Ballroom Patrajasa Semarang. Penghargaan ini pertama kali diterima oleh Pemerintah Kabupaten (Pemkab) Jepara.
“Alhamdulillah kami mendapat anugerah penghargaan badan publik menuju informatif dari KIP Jawa Tengah,” kata Arif Darmawan.
Arif menuturkan penghargaan ini sekaligus pengakuan dari publik dan juga lembaga pemerintah tentang pengelolaan informasi dan dokumentasi di Kabupaten Jepara. Arif berharap prestasi ini bisa meningkat menjadi informatif di tahun mendatang.
“Ini langkah awal yang baik bagi kita semua. Semoga tahun depan bisa meningkat menjadi informatif,” kata dia.
Capaian ini merupakan kerja keras seluruh jajaran yang terus memperbaiki sistem informasi yang bisa diakses oleh masyarakat atau publik. Adapun sistem pengelolaan informasi Pemkab Jepara juga sudah diatur oleh Undang-Undang tentang informasi publik.
“Kami terbuka terhadap masukan publik akan pengelolaan informasi. Kami akan terus perbaiki dan terbuka terhadap berbagai masukan dari masyarakat untuk memperbaiki kebutuhan informasi publik,” kata dia.
Ketua Komisi Informasi Provinsi Jateng Indra Ashoka Mahandrayana mengatakan penghargaan tahun ini cukup istimewa. Karena monitoring dan evaluasi yang dilakukan KPI Jateng terbanyak dibanding tahun-tahun sebelumnya.
Ketua Komisi Informasi Pusat Handoko Agung Saputro berharap adanya inovasi yang muncul di tiap daerah ini bisa memberikan pelayanan yang terbaik untuk masyarakat.
“Inovasi harus bisa memberikan akses seluas-luasnya kepada masyarakat, termasuk transparansi,” kata dia.
Pj. Gubernur Jateng Komjen Pol (Purn) Drs. Nana Sudjana mengucapkan selamat kepada SKPD, Kabupaten/Kota, lembaga yang telah berhasil mendapatkan penghargaan dari KIP. Nana berharap badan publik bersikap kooperatif kepada masyarakat.
Selain Pemkab Jepara, penghargaan badan publik juga diraih Desa Jambu, Kecamatan Mlonggo kategori informatif 2023. Juga Badan Pengawas Pemilu (Bawaslu) Kabupaten Jepara meraih penghargaan kategori menuju informatif.
