KlikFakta.com, KUDUS – Desa Wonosoco, Kecamatan Undaan, Kudus diterjang dua kali banjir bandang dalam waktu kurang dari 24 jam.
Pertama terjadi pada Jumat (24/11/2023) sekira pukul 18.30 sampai 19.30 WIB. Sebanyak 41 rumah warga terdampak banjir.
Camat Undaan Arif Budiyanto menuturkan banjir bandang pertama cukup besar dan air sempat masuk ke permukiman setinggi 1 meter.
Arus banjir juga membawa material lumpur dan batu dari Pegunungan Kendeng.
Laly pada Sabtu siang (25/11/2023) terjadi hujan deras. Tidak berselang lama, banjir bandang kedua melanda dengan intensitas lebih kecil.
“Yang kedua ini merupakan banjir bandang susulan. Semalam sudah terjadi yang lebih besar dari hari ini. Genangan air malah mencapai 1 meter,” kata Arif.
Pada banjir bandang kedua, kata Arif, hanya 4 rumah warga yang terdampak.
Ia menuturkan, banjir bandang itu terjadi karena Wonosoo terletak di lereng Pegunungan Kendeng yang sudah gundul.
“Di Gunung Kendeng itu area pegunungannya sudah gundul. Ditanami oleh warga sekitar tanaman jagung. Waktu musim kemarau tanahnya tandus tidak ada penahan air. Akibat Gunung Kendeng sudah gundul mau tidak mau efeknya sampai ke banjir bandang karena tidak ada penahan sama sekali,” kata dia.
Kasi Kedaruratan dan Logistik BPBD Kudus, Ahmad Munaji juga menuturkan hal serupa.
“Kondisi tanah pegunungan (Kendeng) yang cenderung gundul,” katanya pada Sabtu (25/11/2023).
Hal ini mengakibatkan air hujan tidak mampu terserap tanah. Melainkan langsung mengalir ke permukiman.
“Sehingga menyebabkan lumpur bebatuan yang berada di jalan dan dalam rumah warga,” sebutnya.
