KlikFakta.com, KUDUS – Klub asal Kudus, PB Djarum, sukses raih dominasi gelar juara umum dalam turnamen Polytron Gubernur Cup 2023 yang diselenggarakan di GOR Djarum, Kecamatan Jati, Kabupaten Kudus mulai Senin, 13 November hingga Sabtu, 18 November 2023.
Klub bulutangkis PB Djarum memastikan diri sebagai juara umum di kejuaraan bulutangkis Polytron Gubernur Cup 2023. Hal itu setelah PB Djarum memenangi 14 kategori dari total 23 kategori yang dipertandingkan di partai final.
Atlet PB Djarum memenangi 14 kategori. Yakni usia dini putra (UDPA), tunggal remaja putra (TRA), tunggal taruna putri (TTI), dan ganda remaja putra (GRA).
Kemudian ada ganda dewasa campuran (GDC), tunggal anak-anak putri (TAPI), ganda pemula putri (GPI), dan ganda taruna putri (GTI).
Selain itu juga memenangi kategori tunggal anak-anak putra (TAPA), ganda remaja campuran (GRC), dan ganda taruna putra (GTA). PB Djarum juga menang di kategori ganda taruna campuran (GTC), usia dini putri (UDPI), dan ganda remaja putri (GRI).
Salah satu gelar juara disumbangkan oleh Gavriel Aldrich Alharon Labatar yang baru saja bergabung dengan PB Djarum pada Juli lalu raih ajang Audisi Umum PB Djarum 2023. Pemain yang akrab disapa Gava itu memastikan diri menjejakkan kaki di podium tertinggi di sektor Usia Dini Putra U-11 usai mengalahkan pemain asal PB Champion Naufal Rasyid Adz Dzaki tiga gim 21-14, 13-21, 21-13.
“Pertandingan melawan Naufal sangat melelahkan. Saya kurang fokus di gim kedua sehingga harus melanjutkan laga penentuan. Di gim ketiga pelatih saya memberi semangat dan meminta saya untuk bermain lebih tenang dan akhirnya bisa memastikan kemenangan. Saya bersyukur bisa memberikan gelar juara kepada klub saya,” kata Gava. Ini adalah gelar juara perdana Gava usai berseragam PB Djarum.
Penampilan gemilang juga diperlihatkan Tunggal Remaja Putra U-17 dari PB Djarum, Yudha Rendra Wijaya. Di partai final Polytron Gubernur Cup 2023, Yudha membuat membuat kejutan dengan mengalahkan unggulan tiga asal PB Mutiara Cardinal, Bandung, Arga Nugraha Sigfar. Ia memastikan kemenangan melalui pertarungan sengit sepanjang pertandingan dengan hasil akhir 21-19, 17-21, 26-24.
“Saya berusaha bermain aman di awal pertandingan melawan Arga. Namun, di gim kedua kepercayaan diri saya sempat menurun dan cukup kesulitan meladeni serangan-serangan lawan. Baru di gim penentuan saya bisa bermain lebih lepas dan berusaha tidak melakukan banyak kesalahan sendiri. Di samping itu, lawan sepertinya sedikit mengalami cedera yang memengaruhi permainannya menjadi lebih menurun,” ujar Yudha.
“Saya sangat bersyukur bisa menjadi juara di Polytron Gubernur Cup 2023. Terima kasih kepada orang tua, keluarga, pelatih-pelatih PB Djarum dan semua teman-teman yang sudah mendukung saya. Hadiah yang saya dapat dari turnamen ini rencananya sebagian untuk ditabung dan sebagian lagi untuk sedekah karena sebelum turnamen, saya sudah bernazar jika menjadi juara akan bersedekah,” ucapnya.
Sebagai informasi, Partai final Polytron Gubernur Cup 2023 yang didukung penuh oleh Bakti Olahraga Djarum Foundation ini mempertandingkan 23 kategori dari enam kelompok usia, yakni Usia Dini U-11, Anak U-13, Pemula U-15, Remaja U-17, Taruna U-19, dan Dewasa. Berikut daftar para pemenang:
