Tidak main-main, uang ganti rugi yang didapat bernilai miliaran rupiah.
Salah satunya adalah Mutiah (60) yang mendapat ganti rugi senilai Rp 1,36 miliar.
Dia mengatakan, uang yang didapat aka digunakan untuk kehidupan di hari tua. Selain itu akan dibagikan ke keluarga.
“Saudara kan ada lima, jadi mau dibagi-bagi. Sudah sulit cari uang juga, sehingga saya simpan untuk hari tua,” ungkapnya, dikutip TribunJateng.
Sementara itu, Mbah Soelijah yang berusia 84 tahun sudah memiliki rencana tersendiri. Uang ganti rugi yang diterimanya mencapai Rp 3,42 miliar.
Dia ingin menggunakan uang ganti rugi yang diterima untuk berangkan umroh.
“Insyaallah rencana umroh, namun sebelum mendapat ini memang sudah punya rencana untuk umroh,” ungkapnya setelah mengambil uang di Balai Desa Kandangan melalui rekening yang diberikan BNI, Selasa (13/12).
Kepala Dusun Geneng, Desa Kandangan, Purnomo (54) juga mendapat uang ganti rugi dari rumahnya sebesar Rp 2 miliar.
Dia mengaku akan mencari tempat tinggal dan meneruskan usaha warung kelontongnya. Selain itu juga berencana pergi umroh.
“Masyarakat kami kan sebagian jarang pegang uang besar apalagi miliaran, maka saran kami yang pertama beli tanah dahulu, kemudian setelah bisa dibagikan ke anak-anaknya atau yang lain,” imbaunya.
Ada 284 bidang tanah di Desa Kandangan yang mendapat uang ganti rugi atas pembebasan tanah yang terkena proyek Yogyakarta – Bawen.
Desa Kandangan menjadi desa pertama yang pembebasan lahannya sudah selesai, dibanding desa atau kecamatan lain di Kabupaten Semarang maupun Provinsi Jawa Tengah.
Pemberian uang ganti rugi ini secara simbolis dilakukan oleh Dirjen Pengadaan dan Pengembangan Tanah Kementerian ATR/BPN, Embun Sari di Aula Kantor Desa Kandangan, Senin (12/12).
“Total dana untuk uang ganti tanah warga yang terkena proyek mencapai Rp 282 miliar,” kata Embun, dikutip TribunJateng, Senin (12/12).
